Hello everyone! For the past 6 months we mods have been planning the challenges for this group on our own, and we decided that we wanted to open a thread so that members can give ideas and suggestions for the challenges. We want to make this group a fun space for everyone and we are trying to make it as interactive as possible, so if you have any challenges ideas, feel free to leave them here or pm me, Nashita or Stuti. :)

Edit- Wanted to add that members will be credited for their ideas!

Shawna Finnigan (sugoishawn) | 2293 comments Maybe a tv show themed challenge? So the teams would be cable, Netflix, Hulu, disney+, etc. and the prompts are based on popular tv shows? Like Riverdale could be read a thriller with teenage characters and Love, Victor could be read a book with a gay main character. It might not be the greatest idea, but if you like it, I can make a bunch of prompts but it's okay if not :)

That sounds really interesting! Maybe we could make it book adaptations based, as not everyone workday have watched all the shows? :)

You could do like a treasure hunt. To elaborate-

1) you have a set of prompts which the person has to chose from
2) when they complete a prompt, you open up more prompts

It would be better if each prompt has a specific prompt to follow

Example-

Read a book released in 2021

So I’ll chose Aru Shah and the City of Gold

This opens up a bunch of new prompts and there’s one

Read a book with a disease involved

And I read some other book

That continues until you have say 20 prompts. The person who completes the most prompts wins.

That’s interesting! I think we won’t have time to plan that for august, but we might do it in September. :)
thanks for the suggestion!

By the way, do you mind if you do this in October? It’s fine if not but it would mean so much to me!

Adrien Lockheart | 30 comments A challenge idea I had for February [Valentines Day Month] or sometime sooner is a challenge based on dual book prompts. Basically, a prompt would include a description for 2 books to read. Once these two books are read, the reader earns points based on page values and complexity of said prompt. I included some examples below [marked as spoiler to save space].. Thank you!
