What are your latest theories about the conspiracy after learning what was on those recordings and the information shared by Ellen House, the nurse’s daughter?

Lynn (ftbooklover) I don't believe that Zack is Sergei, but there is so much more information that I need before I can figure out the rest. However, the recording does support the theory that Zack is really Natalia's son.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I have a lot of questions about Zack. I don't think he is Sergei, but I do think that Natalia is behind some of the revenge. What a cloud she can put over him and the presidency then to question his citizenship, his devious parents, and how Zack is involved. I will move to book 5 before I planned.

Mad faked his plane crash with Matthew’s help. He’s definitely Deep Throat.

I think Sergei is Natalia’s son but is not Zack. Perhaps Zack is Natalia’s son but Frank is his father (why don’t they just do a DNA test????).

They tried to blackmail Zack with dirt on those close to him and a fairly lame story involving him. Maybe they’re testing the waters but this was a curious ploy.

There was a hit list and Admiral Spencer, Joy and Constance were on it. That’s it. What if Joy killed Constance and Spencer figured it out (he was trying to see her when she was at Homewood). They had to discredit and then kill him because he discovered something about Joy. What if Joy was killed because she became a liability?

What if Sergei is protecting Zack and wasn’t responsible for killing anybody?

Brain cramp.

Oh! I also think Vanessa, the assistant in the press office, is behind the shenanigans that framed Liz.

That’s all I’ve got.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Good theories Jonetta. I can get on board with these.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I think that Zack is Natalia's son. Constance killed her baby and Natalia's son was substituted. Constance told Joy everything and that is what got Joy killed, same for Admiral Spencer. I thought at first that Darcy took Constance out of the home, but I'm not real sure about that. I don't buy that Joy is wrapped up in the Russian conspiracy.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 9278 comments Mod
Constance would not have trusted Darcy and the nurse said the woman was “family.”

The reason I feel Zack has to be at least Frank’s son is because if not, he couldn’t stay President. I don’t think that will be the outcome of all this so I’m hanging on to his paternity. I strongly believe Natalia could be his mother.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I agree with you Zack's parents are Frank and Natalia. Who Sergei is is a big question for me. I keep thinking Frank and Natalia had fraternal twins and Sergei is Zack's brother.

Didn't Constance die after the election? If that's the case Joy couldn't have taken her out of the sanatorium, she was dead.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 9278 comments Mod
She died a few days after his marriage, before the election.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments That can't be right. Constance was at the wedding and she was in the sanatorium for 9 months before she was checked out by someone and died in an auto accident. I thought Constance was put in the sanatorium to prevent her from disrupting the presidential election. We need a timeline check.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments Zack is definitely Frank Hayes' biological son - there are passages describing how they look alike. The question is whether Constance or Natalia is his mother. At this point, I am beginning to suspect that the baby Constance accidentally dropped was Natalia's, which would explain her desire for revenge.

Based on this, Sergei and Sava are one and the same. Natalia faked Sava's death so she could raise him to get revenge on the Hayes family.

Joy was part of the conspiracy. She actively insinuated herself into the PG circle by befriending Gus and was manipulating Roman with her flirtations. Why did she insist on going to the Midwest during the campaign.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments Jonetta wrote: "She died a few days after his marriage, before the election."

This doesn't make sense. Joy and Zack were married for a few years before he ran for president. Their wedding was 9 years before the events of Holland and Dax's book.

Joy was killed immediately before the presidential election 3 years before the events of the series.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments Anita wrote: "That can't be right. Constance was at the wedding and she was in the sanatorium for 9 months before she was checked out by someone and died in an auto accident. I ."

Yes, I agree.

The timeline indicates that Constance was still in the sanitorium after the Presidential election and Joy had already been killed.

Joy could not be the unknown woman.

Oh! I like this theory!

I wrote in another topic that in Seduction in Session, Lara and Everly were having a conversation where Everly recalled that Constance had died nine years earlier. That would be before Zack was elected President and after he married Joy. Joy was assassinated one week before Election Day.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Ahh! Joy is the mystery woman.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments Jonetta wrote: "I wrote in another topic that in Seduction in Session, Lara and Everly were having a conversation where Everly recalled that Constance had died nine years earlier. That would be bef..."

Yes, you are right, Jonetta.
Now I am even more convinced that Joy was complicit in the conspiracy as she probably had a hand in Constance's death.
