Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!

Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.

Hello. I just finished The kite runner which I found so good. An incredible story. I look forward reading a second book by this author.

I am planning to join in with you-all if that's okay. I know I own a copy of this book. Now I must locate it! 😋

I have finished this book. A great book. I did not like all chapters but overall I loved the stories as all chapters is a different story. What about you?

I will start next week, after finishing The Night Watchman.

Finished reading. I am disappointed by it. I loved Hosseini's first 2 books, but this one seemed great in parts but kind of boring in others.

Sadly, I have yet to dig through my piles and locate this one. If I can do so today or tomorrow, I'll go ahead and read it this week. I really want to read it!!!

I must give up on this one for August...into September! I really want to read Project Hail Mary for the monthly group read!

Lynn, do you need this thread in case you're still planning to read the book? Otherwise, I will be archiving this along with the other August threads.

That is so sweet of you, SarahKat! However, I am abandoning this for now. Must concentrate on the few group/buddy reads to which I've committed for October-December and ALL those other books I must read to complete 2021 challenges! Perhaps I'll get to this one in 2022!
