I turn towards Edin with an expression like im begging for him to save me from the dreaded math class. He didn't understand my pleading.
"Well, I'll see you at lunch." Edin slammed his locker door probably begging me to save him from science. We both hate school like its our jobs. Every class is tourture for us. Well, except chorus and PE for me and band and PE for Edin.

Street of Shadows

This street was not safe. For anyone. Not even for a police officer. But Alicia didnt care. She was here a lot. She got in trouble a lot too. Always fighting the street rats. She knew everyone who passed this street, by name. She wasnt afraid of any of them. The only thing she was scared about on this street is who she became when she hid in the shadows.
Alicia was a Shadow Ming. She takes form of the creature that lurks in the shadows on that street.
"Hey! Gir-!" A street passer said to Alicia said. It was Nick. "Oh. It's just you, Alicia."
"Yes Nick, its always me." Alicia said with a sour tone.
"Yeah, yeah. Why do you always wear that down here? Those clothes are what makes people want to hunt you." Nick said looking at Alicia's dress.
"What else am I supposed to wear, I legit just came from dinner." She tossed a bag down to the boy. He caught it with his left hand and opened the pouch. Smelling the fresh steak and mashed potatoes, his crystal blue eyes widened.
"And I'm glad you did." Nick said ignoring the outfit discussion. He digged into the bag with his fingers. Alicia cringed and she pulled out a fork and knife wrapped in a napkin.
"And I thought you had manners." She handed him the wrap. He neglected the knife and toar into the steak with his fork and teeth.
