The characters get much more distinct within a couple chapters. Much easier now.

This is my first time reading the book and I really like it. It's a really light-hearted fantasy and I haven't read many of those. It's refreshing.

Yep, it took me a minute. I love those kinds of things though. That really make you think.

Agreed! After several chapters all the names, characters, places feel very natural and funny.

On a world supported on the back of a giant turtle (sex unknown), a gleeful, explosive, wickedly eccentric expedition sets out. There's an avaricious but inept wizard, a naive tourist whose luggage moves on hundreds of dear little legs, dragons who only exist if you believe in them, and of course THE EDGE of the planet...
