For Fall I'm offering two challenges. One offers a little more of a challenge and one is a bit simpler. This is the simpler of the challenge and it is a spelling challenge.

The challenge will run from September 1st to November 30th. All books started after the 1st and finished before the 30th can be used. The goal of this challenge is to spell out one of the following words/phrases (you pick):

-FALL
-AUTUMN
-AUTUMNAL EQUINOX

I know it is not fall all over the world so if you happen to be in the Southern Hemisphere you are welcome to spell out one of these words/phrases:

-SPRING
-VERNAL EQUINOX

Each participant will use a the titles of their books to spell out their chosen word. This is a completion challenge and is over once you spell your word. If you still have time you are welcome to try spell as many of the words as you can.

Rules:
1. All books must be begun on or after September 1st to count.
2. All books must be at least 200 pages according to the most popular edition on Goodreads.
3. Articles such as a, as, the, an, do not count as part of the title for reporting purposes.
4. Reporting should occur on only one thread. Make your post and then edit it as you complete books. Multiple reporting threads for the same person will be deleted.
5. This is a self-reporting challenge. The goal is just to make it through.
6. Have Fun!

If you have any questions feel free to post and I will answer as soon as possible.

Wanda (wanda71) Just for clarification--

Do the books have to be historical fiction or non fiction?

May the "X" appear anywhere in the title?

Thanks

No genre requirements for this challenge.

With X yes, it may appear anywhere in the title since that is a difficult one.

Cheryl A | 1054 comments Halfway thru the 3 months, and I'm actually halfway done! 12 done, 13 to go. The last book was a doozy - even with reading and listening, it took more than 3 weeks to finish.

Cheryl A | 1054 comments Finish the last book on the last day! This was fun. Thanks, Jasmine. Now to rack up some miles on the Million Mille Challenge - still have about 100k to go. And, hopefully, start the Centuries Challenge.

Great job! Century challenge should help with the million miles challenge since its all historical fiction. It might be the perfect way to rack up the miles.
