We recently read book 1 as a buddy read. Now we are going to read Frostbite. Who would like to join and when shall we start?

Im almost done with the book can i join by tomorrow?

We have no starting date yet. Johanna said she didn't want to start before the weekend at least. So take your time finishing book 1

I'm much further in the book now. I have read upto chapter 13. It was a lovely sunny afternoon today, so it was perfect weather to read in the garden.

Chapter 1-13
(view spoiler)[Lissa and Rose are not doing much together. This makes me wonder if they really are good friends. Doesn't look like it. Though maybe it is because Lissa is in love with Christian and since they haven't been together long she is just spending more time with him. The getting stuck in Lissa's head when she is with her boyfriend much be very annoying. It will probably happen more often.

The attacks are bad. I wonder why the Strigoi are now more organized. Who is behind that? And how can they make humans break the wards for them?

Rose is using Mason because she can't have Dimitri. I don't think this is going to end good.
I like the chemistry between Rose and Dimitri. I don't see how things would work between them, but I would like them to get together

Chapter 13
(view spoiler)[This has been better / easier to get into than the first one. I have enjoyed reading this one. Well still the same that not so extremely much has happened but I like the atmosphere in this one. It was easy to guess that they're starting to train Moloi to use their magic. It wasn't so surprising. But it's interesting to see what happens soon with Strigoi. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 17

After finishing the book
(view spoiler)[Rose handled herself when they were kept locked up in the room. I like how she was able to think of a plan, and it even worked.
It's so sad Mason died.
I liked the action in the later part of the book. (hide spoiler)]

I liked this book more than the first one. It was a nice quick read

It's a good question that who is behind this all. And I think they have promised power and/or money to people to get them to their side. Or safety.

Chapter 17

You should have been seen how I looked like when I read about Mason' death. And I thought Lissa would get him back... And then it didn't happen. So this book surprised me. (hide spoiler)]

I agree, that last part of the book was so good. It was hard to put down. I enjoyed it as well. Book 3 is even better, at least I thought so.
