Dani Valverde | 2 comments I'm looking for am up-to-date book that explains the quantum physics Standard Model, its challenges and limitations for a physics enthusiast who is not a physicist. Can anyone make a good recommendation?

It’s probably better than the other two titles based on what you asked for. It goes through the particles of the standard model, the forces, and based on chapter titles( as I’m not that far yet) where particle physics is heading.

Have you seen the recent Nova episode about neutrinos? It's probably more basic than you're looking for but it helped me understand the standard model a little better.
