I just started this and I'm loving it. The way she's built it is wonderful.

This book looked so interesting. It was good, but not as good as I hoped. It was interesting to parallel the first part of the story to Encanto, since it has been playing on repeat. The story of a strong but also weak matriarch trying to protect their family, centered on the family home, with multiple generations living together.

I felt some parts were unnecessary, but others I still had questions about. Overall I enjoyed it.
