That seems like a smart plan, it's good to be reminded of the fun instead of feeling like you have to read a book on a certain date. I might try it out myself in the new year (since I already have too many planned for this month and December)

Yeah and most of the time I just drop all of my BRs anyway, far too stressful. It's terrible :(

Chapter 4
(view spoiler)[What I still don't really love about Emilia is that she keeps assuming what Wrath is thinking, while she's obviously wrong. Her going into the seven circles is definitely going to blow up in her face, no idea why she thinks she can handle that while she could barely handle meeting all the Princes in the human world, let alone on their own turf.

Damn that scene on the way was hot, even though it was an illusion lol. He literally doesn’t do anything wrong, he’s protecting her 24/7, yet she still acts like he’s the biggest jerk alive?? Don’t be such a baby, I’m getting sick of her stupidness already. Wrath is really cute though, I just wish he’d end up with someone a lot nicer/cooler/more interesting because an ancient prince of hell would NOT be impressed by her at all lmao (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 10
(view spoiler)[Seriously? He saved her life and she’s being an ungrateful brat again, surprise 🙄 She didn’t have to throw the robe into the flames, that was so unnecessary. This girl makes me aggressive as hell. Can we just have chapters without her and just Wrath pls thanks. The dark well of power she feels inside of her was a little too easy to reach lol. Anyway, I’m guessing that has something to do with Pride’s first escort? Definitely the woman we read about, the one in the prologue I think? But she took his wings, not just his horns. There is definitely more to the story and it’s all getting mysterious, which I like. Some intrigue besides Emilia’s stupidness lol. It definitely still seems like she’s still engaged to Wrath, since they still have the tattoos and they’re still growing..? Don't get why she isn't questioning that.

I’m so glad Wrath took out Makaden’s tongue, what a vile man!! I’m enjoying it more and more, I liked the court and can’t wait to see more. It’s kinda starting to remind me of a mix between ACOTAR and Kingdom of Flesh & Fire. (hide spoiler)]

I really don’t understand why she didn’t get that she was still betrothed to Wrath: she knew what the tattoo meant??? How stupid is she 😂😂 Anyway, I’m glad she now finally knows! I’m so happy about Wrath, I hope she won’t be mad but of course she will, knowing her. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 22:(view spoiler)[ ok Emilia needs to tell Wrath she can't access her magic. This is a huge hindrance esp with the party coming up. But on a fun side, i am loving their scenes together. Them eating the garlic and bread together...swoon (hide spoiler)]

So much was revealed ans while i guessed some of it (she was actually betrothed to Wrath, Wrath was the actual devil) i did not guess that her sister was still alive. What the hell?? Chapter 19
(view spoiler)[Why do I feel like Wrath isn’t the one who gave her the hairbrush? Why do I feel like it’s actually someone who wants to have some of her hair? That was something that could be used against her right? Ah and the mirror might be the one Envy is looking for?

I feel.. icky. I don’t know, I can’t describe how I’m feeling exactly. I’m just NOT okay with what Wrath just did. I understand that he wanted to show her that his brothers can make her do anything, but he didn’t need to do that like that, at all. Shit, I feel weird. I really dislike him right now, even if he wanted to apologize right after, it’s still not okay in my opinion. I wish Emilia gave him a harder time as well instead of just fighting with him (which he likes may I add), she should’ve just walked out and not talked to him for a long time. I hate this, I can’t believe how mad I am at Wrath right now, the only person I really liked. I’m taking a break. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 26

Antonio is there?? That interaction wasn’t useful at all lol. The cooking was really cute as well, I still love Wrath :’) I’m really liking Emilia more as well. The theory she shared, about her being the one who’s cursed, that sounds like it has some truth in it!! Can’t wait. Dude I thought we were in for a hot scene and then he cut it off, obviously because he saw that she wasn’t sure about it, but still, I want them together already XD Him constantly asking for consent is really cute though, didn’t expect that from a demon tbh.

Oh I completely misunderstood, I actually thought Celestia was hiding the person that Envy mentioned; he said Wrath stole something very dear to him and he wants to return the favor right? I thought he’d killed the one Envy loved or something, and I thought that the person that Celestia is hiding (the one under the ground) is actually that girl? I thought Envy was in love with Vittoria by the way, since it seemed so weird for him to just work with her while he basically hates mortals, but I guess that isn't true lol. But apparently there's another reason behind it, at least according to Emilia.

Holy crap okay hear me out, what if Emilia was the devil’s wife??? I’m not 10000% sure yet how I see that playing out, but it would explain why she feels like she’s been there before and the ‘visions’ she keeps having (which must be memories). What if the curse that was placed on the devil was that his wife was taken from him, to be reborn as a mortal so she wouldn’t know him at all? It reminds me a loooot of Fallen if that’s true, I don’t know. But that must mean Wrath is the devil for that theory to work, so idk if that’s too crazy a theory. She definitely knows Wrath intimately from another life, so I have a feeling I could be right..? I mean Wrath introduces her as ‘your future queen’ to his court, while they all knew he was betrothed to her. She can’t be a queen if he’s a prince, so that must mean he’s the king, namely the devil right? That’s what I thought at that point at least, maybe I’m completely missing the mark haha. Holy shit now that I think about it, it’s making more and more sense; he was able to influence her with all the sins in that icky lesson, but I don’t think the other houses can do that; they can only boost their own sin right?? So how could he boost them all?? Oh my, is he the devil?????? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 31
(view spoiler)[Ah she's now thinking something along the same lines, but with Pride. I still think I’m right. I honestly don’t have a clue what’s going on at this point, the hunt etc are all so random? 😂 What I also don’t understand, is that she felt the urge to go riding but then keeps saying that she wants to stay away from the hunt.??? Uhm well that doesn’t add up now does it. And now she’s riding into someone else’s territory, she’s back to being annoying stupid Emilia. I don’t understand why she believes the person who’s sending the skulls is good, and not out to get her? Who says it isn’t all a trap? The way everyone is acting/talking about Pride really makes me think that he isn’t the devil, I’m starting to be sure that it’s Wrath. It’s now finally time for the fear ceremony. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 34
(view spoiler)[ Well the fear ceremony was kinda disappointing? It was nice that Wrath wanted to step up, but I was actually looking forward to learning one of her fears, even one of his. I thought the devil plot would be revealed that way. I don't like the 'getting intimate' dare, that's such a childish thing to ask for literally centuries year old princes of hell?????

Nooooo she was intimate with Wrath and then drugged him!!! That was so unnecessary, I hate it and I hate her :( Ok so she’s stupid again, the tree moment literally didn’t add anything. I am so annoyed by the fact that she just bargains with a random woman for a favor in the future THAT COULD BE ANYTHING????? You’re in hell, not a fairytale!! This girl jkdkskdkpsbwkwkwl if Wrath won’t punch her, I will. She literally didn’t get any answers at all, expect for the fact that she carved Wrath’s real name in the tree (which is another bargain so the crone woman is probably laughing her head off at how stupid Emilia is). Wtf she got so much better but now I’m back to hating her again. She reminds me way too much of Poppy from from blood & ash who was so annoying as well.

Ahhhh her sister isn't dead!! Kinda surprising! It isn't surprising that she's evil though, she's definitely something else. I hate the way this ended, I wanted them to sleep together aaaaah!!! I hope she isn't just using him for the bond now, it kinda did feel like a ploy, but I'm hoping it isn't..

Not sure what I thought of this one, I enjoyed it, and I liked Emilia more throughout the book, but kinda disliked her again in the last few chapters. (hide spoiler)]

The vivid lust dream was pretty hot. Emilia better keep her feelings on lock down.

There are so many things that are still so mysterious. Who keeps leaving her enchanted skulls and what do the riddles mean? Why is Wrath just keeping her at his home if she is supposed to be Pride's betrothed now? Why wouldn't Pride summon her immediately? Is what she figured out about her and her sister being born true? Did their birth really set the devil free so he has been free this whole time? What does that part of the prophecy mean about one twin ruling hell and the other being in heaven? And what is this new power that she senses within herself? This new magic that isn't any of the five that she has been taught about? Her grandmother has really been keeping secrets. If I were her, I would be more angry. (hide spoiler)]
