The Rural Diaries: Love, Livestock, and Big Life Lessons Down on Mischief Farm by Hilarie Burton MorganI did the Audible version and it comes with all of the recipes in the book in a pdf format. She also reads the recipes and they are in the print book.
I LOVED this book!
One the best memoir of 2020 is a food memoir (Crying in H Mart) from Michelle Zauner . Has many Korean recipes in it.
Read this last spring, Accidentally Engaged by Farah Heron. Fake engagement trope where the couple enter a cooking competition only for couples. Two recipes at the end.

I feel like A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking should have at least one recipe in it?? Either way I'm planning to read it so I guess I'll find out, haha.
All of the books in the Tea Shop Mystery series by Laura Childs have recipes in them. I added the first one, Death by Darjeeling, to the Listopia.This is what I would categorize as a cozy mystery series.

I'm currently reading The Lost Apothecary which has recipes in the back for poisons (also real food, if you're not in need of poison!).

Besides having an appealing core cast and delicious food descriptions, this mystery series has so far deftly handled the problem of having a limited pool of suspects in a town/city of decent size each time around. The fourth in the series has a reality show angle to it that I really enjoyed.

I would recommend With the Fire on High, which was a book I read last year. Although the measurements are kinda out there and the recipe seems to be more measuring with your soul, it does have some decent recipes in there. Also Como agua para chocolate since it has different recipes from Mexico.

The 7 books in Lisa Kleypas Ravenel series each have a recipe in them.

This is probably quite the stretch, but Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 1 gives a breakdown of the components of a human body for use in the brothers' alchemical ritual attempt. So, technically? Haha.
If you enjoy stories told from multiple perspectives, id recommend Recipe for a Perfect Wife. Completely fits the bill for this one :)

I won an ARC of Feeding the Soul (Because It's My Business): Finding Our Way to Joy, Love, and Freedom, and it includes recipes, so I'm going to use that. I'm glad to know Accidentally Engaged, Arsenic and Adobo, and The Rural Diaries: Love, Livestock, and Big Life Lessons Down on Mischief Farm are all good backups, though. thanks!
The Coffeehouse Mysteries by Cleo Coyle all have recipes in them; coffee-themed of course!
I just added Black Bottom Saints to the list. The recipes in the book are for drinks. Even though I read it during a time I wasn't able to drink (alcohol) I still enjoyed the book - very unique!
I have With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo. But Meet Me at the Cupcake Café by Jenny Colgan has a recipe too. I hope you are going to add it on Listopia:)
I know for certain that The Tao of Martha: My Year of LIVING; Or, Why I'm Never Getting All That Glitter Off of the Dog has a recipe or two in it. And it's one of my favorite books.
I just finished this time next year by sophie cousens and there are recipes in the back. All of jenny colgans beech street bakery romances have recipes in them too.
Life's Too Short Has a recipe in the back! Loved this book and it can be read without reading the two companion books before it.
You have to read ‘Recipes of love and murder’ by Sally Andrew. It is set in the Karoo in South Africa. The book even has the recipes for the dishes the main character made. A really nice one to read ;)
Can't have this prompt without at least mentioning Like Water for Chocolate, though I've already read it for a challenge a few years ago!
Unfortunately I've read With the Fire on High for the restaurant prompt this year, and Confections of a Closet Master Baker: One Woman's Sweet Journey from Unhappy Hollywood Executive to Contented Country Baker for a prompt last year (two years ago??), so I don't really know what to read for this one yet....
The Jack Daniels series by J.A. Konrath all pretty much start with a drink recipe. For example, book 1 is called Whiskey Sour and the recipe for a whiskey sour is on the first page. I will warn you that they are pretty graphic books though. Definitely not for everyone, but I find the series very ridiculous and entertaining.
I don't know if this is truly a recipe, but Poison for Breakfast gives directions on a few ways to cook eggs.
I’ve had Tucci by Stanley Tucci on my list for a while and learned that it includes some recipes! Glad I can make it work for this challenge.
Julie Hyzy’s White House Chef Mystery series is phenomenal. Cozy mysteries with a protagonist who is a chef in the White House. Each book includes recipes that are featured in the book!
Does anyone know if Free Food for Millionaires by Min Jin Lee has a recipe in it?
