I've read Gabe's book. The man has the soul of Rod Serling fighting in The Twilight Zone with Fallout From Asphalt Hell. Read my review.

James Michels | 7 comments Promoting for a fellow author.
Dead No More by Pete Adams.
A car bomb that left three people dead and a little girl permanently disfigured had been left unsolved for a decade. Now the investigation has been revived, leading to the uncovering of a diabolical conspiracy involving the social elites and government. Juliet Nakka is that little girl, now sixteen, who sets out to find out why her parents and grandmother were killed. Aiding her are an unlikely bunch of characters ranging from mysterious to comical to a combination of both to solve the mystery.
I had no idea that I was going to be reading a comedy. Comedy in books has never been a go-to for me, however this book is one of the funniest that I’ve ever read. Mixed in is also a genuinely profound conspiracy and a good amount of action. The characters are great and dynamic, especially Lilac, maybe my favorite character. My only suggestion for readers, especially American readers like myself, is to touch up on your English slang. Awesome read. 5/5
Available on Amazon now.
Dead No More

I'd like to recommend a book I participated in called L.A. Stories Three Grindhouse Novellas (Uncle B. Publications, LLC Book 1) by Alec Cizak L.A. Stories: Three Grindhouse Novellas.

I rarely put a "trigger warning" on my work, but I think you kind of have to have an appreciation for grimy. 1970s/1980s B-movies to be able to tolerate this collection. When we say 'grindhouse,' we mean it. Think the original Maniac (1980), Don't Answer the Phone (1980), Basket Case (1982?), etc. We wanted to show how sleazy Hollywood was at the time (as opposed to how sleazy Hollywood is now...) as well as demonstrate how that sleaziness represented a kind of freedom I don't really see in the world today. There is a strange union happening between the far left and that ancient strain of Puritanism that has always affected the United States and it's created a censorious cult that would probably not approve of this book. Now, censorious assholes have always existed in the United States, but they've never had as much influence as they seem to have these days.

But I digress.

If you like the kind of fiction that would make both Tipper Gore and Ronny Reagan furious, this is your book.
