Buddy reads are different than BOTMs in that the former is just with one other person or possibly a small group and the latter is more of a group-wide reading.

This thread is to request a buddy read of a book. You can request a book if you've been meaning to read it and haven't gotten to it yet or if you just want to find other similar-minded people to read a book with. If one or more other people say in this thread that they also want to buddy read a book that's been requested and/or someone requests a book and notes that it's already been established that one or more members of this group are wanting to buddy read that book, then I will approve a request and there will be a thread for that buddy read. However, please do not say that you want to buddy read a book if you aren't sure that you would read it if/when it becomes a buddy read book for this group.

I'd love to buddy read Light of the Ark: Book 1 of Light the Ark Series - A Christian Fiction Thriller with somebody if anybody is interested. I own it, but haven't read it yet. I read and enjoyed the prequel, though. It does have a small fantasy element to it.

By the way, we should have buddy read Bridgers: A Parable together. That was such a great book.

I did get a review copy of Bridgers. I actually reviewed it a while ago, not very long after you did. I thought that you read my review already; you "liked" it, haha. I really enjoyed the book. I also reviewed another book by that author, Code, which was also good.

I was thinking of reading Eragon if anyone would be interested reading it along with me! We don't have to start any time soon, maybe just in the next month or so.
