Share all the books you read last month by rounding them all up here and then pick your favorite out of all the book you read in October 2021! I've seen people do this on blogs and on social media and I think it gives you a great sense of accomplishment as well as just serves as a way to reflect on what you read in the last month.

Jesse  | 386 comments This month wasn’t great for me, but all the books I read were;

Words of Radiance
Soulsmith
Balckflame
Skysworn
By Darkness Hid

Words of Radiance was definitely the best.

The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of the United States by Founding Fathers Cry Wolf A Tale of Beauty and the Beast (HighTower Fairytales Beauty and the Beast, #1) by Jacque Stevens Busy Thoughts Before Bed Notebook Journal for those who can't sleep by T.S. Thompson California Trail Discovered (The Whitcomb Discoveries) by Marie Sontag The Stonekeeper (Amulet, #1) by Kazu Kibuishi Roman Identity (The Legend #2) by J.U. Scribe Fairest Son by H.S.J. Williams Coraline by P. Craig Russell

Ugh, why can't I only pick one? I loved Cry Wolf, Amulet, and Fairest Son!

Winter (c73sakura) | 183 comments The Lady and the Wish (Faraway Castle, #4) by J.M. Stengl The Pawn (The Patrick Bowers Files, #1) by Steven James Living Lies (Harbored Secrets #1) by Natalie Walters When the Smoke Clears (Deadly Reunions, #1) by Lynette Eason The Moonflower Dance (Firethorn Chronicles, #4) by Lea Doué The Joy of Christmas Present (A Dickens of a Christmas #2) by L.G. Rollins A Proper Scandal by Esther Hatch The Cul-de-Sac War by Melissa Ferguson Secrets in the Mist (Skyworld #1) by Morgan L. Busse The Lady and the Highwayman (The Dread Penny Society #1) by Sarah M. Eden
The Dark Days Club (Lady Helen, #1) by Alison Goodman ~ This was a DNF
Dawn of Vengeance (Droseran Saga, #2) by Ronie Kendig ~ Technically an October read, but I had to set it aside to read an A.R.C, so it's still a "currently reading".

As to my favorite...it would probably be between Secrets in the Mist and The Lady and the Wish.

Oh boy ahhahaaha.
i reread: A Cast of Stones
Leopardstar’s Honor
Six of Crows
I reread: Dare
Tales of the Neverending
and a few others that weren't my face. I don't reccomend Six of Stars. My favorite is probably between Dare and Cast of Stones tho Tales of the Neverending was good

Mary Emma Sivils | 638 comments For October, I read:

-Hand of Steel (Jessi L. Roberts)

-Wildwood Dancing (Juliet Marillier)

-Oath of the Outcast (C.M. Banschbach)

-The Hound of Duville and Other Stories (Kyle Robert Shultz)

You'd think it'd be easy to pick a favorite out of 4 books, but I'm torn between Oath of the Outcast and Hound of Duville!

I've heard a lot about Fairest Son. I might have to put that on my TBR...

message 13: by [deleted user] (last edited Nov 18, 2021 05:14AM) (new)

I read the whole Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series and the Whole The Heroes of Olympus Series.

message 14: by Hannah (new)

Hannah DCamp | 111 comments @Elizabeth L., those are some of my favorites! I've been wanting to reread Heroes of Olympus (maybe Christmas break will be the time).

@ Jesse, what did you think of By Darkness Hid??

It was a slow month (but not as slow as November is turning out to be haha). I read Ignite, Endure, and Dark Breaks the Dawn (working on my Sara B. Larson backlist haha), and The Ones We're Meant to Find by Joan He, which I think was my favorite.

message 17: by Amelia (new)

Amelia I’ve read the Twilight Saga, Wonder, Five Feet Apart, and A Fault In Are Stars. Homework has been time consuming this past month. I haven’t read a lot. :(

message 18: by Amelia (new)

Amelia Oh! And The Book Thief! That one was amazing! :)

message 19: by Ella (last edited Nov 18, 2021 08:53AM) (new)

Ella Ferris (eferris) | 311 comments I read The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis, Foundation by Isaac Asimov, Castle of Refuge by Melanie Dickerson, The Cruel Prince by Holly Black, The Runaway Bride by Jody Hedlund, and Men of Iron by Howard Pyle.
I think my top 3 out of those are: The Great Divorce, The Runaway Bride, and Castle of Refuge. My least favourite out of those was The Cruel Prince.

message 24: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) I think my favorite out of this was probably Chains. It was about a slave girl in the 1700s and it was absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed it!!!

I can see why you didn't like it. The first one i thought was the worst and i loved the last two, mainly because that's when Jude and Cardan's relationship actually became interesting, but i hated Jude at first lol. I would tell you not to continue the series since you didn't like the first.

No, not necessarily. I think you should read Elantris first, though, because you won't like it once you read Stormlight.

It was okay. Pretty cliche, honestly, and the characters weren't the best. I probably will continue, though, so that might say something in itself.

Alison | 1641 comments I read:
- Five Feet Apart
- Ordinary
- Project Hail Mary (still reading)

I haven't read a lot lately :( but from what I did read, Project Hail Mary is definitely the best.

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

I didn't really like Five Feet Apart. It had a lot of cussing, and wasn't one of the characters gay? I saw the movie and read the book. :|

message 35: by Alison (new)

Alison | 1641 comments Yeah, it kind of disappointed me. And one of the characters was gay.

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)
