I heard about this book on the other Holmes forum, and bought a copy. Published by Belanger Books, it's a collection of short story pastiches and essays, all connected with food or cooking. I thought overall the stories were a lot more interesting than the essays and that the way the material was presented was pretty disorganized - essays and stories mixed together, and section headings didn't really establish a theme - but a few of the stories were quite good: The Child in the Wood (Margie Deck) What She Kneaded (Elise Elliott) The Dundas Separation Case (Julie McKuras) The Adventure at Old Basingstoke (Kathleen Kaska)
