Elizabeth S (esorenson) | 105 comments You've got some mighty strong goals there, Almeta!

Mine for 2022:
Back in the Saddle
(re-reads) = 19

Serial Eyes
(anything in a series except the first book) = 34

Home Alone
(books acquired in 2021) = 29

Left Over Stew
(books owned for longer than a year and still want to get around to reading) = 12

Short Cut
(previously unread picture books) = 218

Roz | 39 comments I'm going to try to work on those categories that are really important to me. No sense saying I'll work on borrowing books from the library if many of the books I read are borrowed anyway. So.....

eDingus 20

Shelving Unit - Kindle Unlimited 25

Yearbook - 2020 - 2022 15

Serial Eyes (no 1st in series) 15

Those are the important ones for me.

You both have great goals.

I've practically given up hope on "Home Alone".

Also, I don't seem to train myself to put the next in a series on my TBR, once I finish one of the series books. In the meantime, I start an altogether different one!☻

One year, as a challenge to myself, I read many Caldecott Medal children's books .

I'd like to add to your huge list with 2 more (got to round that total up!):
Flotsam
Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People's Ears

Purple Iris (purpleiris) | 61 comments I have not been finishing my challenges these past couple of years. Hopefully things will go better in 2022 -- in all kinds of ways!!

I revised my overall challenge count to 75 since I've been falling short of 100 lately and I think I will do the same here.

5 Classics
5 Hot off the Press
and I'd like to push myself and do 10 for Rosetta Stone. But that challenge doesn't start until the 5th for some reason.

That was a mistake on my part. I've changed it to start 1 January.

I love your suggestions. In fact, I've already read both! If you have any other favorites to suggest, I'm open. I think it was back in 2013 that I read all the Caldecott Medals I hadn't read before. I think I'll go check to make sure I've gotten the winners since then... Nope, missing 3. And then a new one will be announced January 24th.
