I'll be reading Vol 3. I love this series.

I just discovered the series this year and bought Volume 1 last week. Very excited!

BTW, Jonathan Maberry has a ghost story audible-only called
"Lullabye"
a story that isn't here, on Goodreads was #1 "To Summon a Fiend-Spirit" by Nina Kiriki Hoffman another great ghost story by her is Ghost Hedgehog, which I read in April, so it won't be here... also Surreal Estate and Haunted Humans

Me too! Her books are a very good choice for this challenge.

I made it, with only one day before deadline left!
1. DEAD WOMAN SCORNED by Michael Clark (December 26)
2. ALETHEIA by J.S. Breukelaar (January 14)

This challenge will give us all an excuse to get away from everyone and find a quiet spot so we can read. :)

That's sounds perfect to me!!

i set my goal low, for 3. I'm counting Come With Me as one of them. it so counts if anyone is reading it. maybe not your normal ghost but i think it counts.

OOH--good one, I didn't think of that! It fits perfectly.

1. Come with Me by Ronald Malfi (finished 12/31/21)
2. The Ghost of Shapley Hall by Amy Cross
3. Nothing But Blackened Teeth by Cassandra Khaw
4. Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas

The way Goodreads sets up the challenges only a book counts through the official, unless you find separate listings for the individual stories and want to enter them that way. Not sure if you can list the book itself multiple times in the challenge or not.
However, if you want to just list the stories read individually on a post in this thread that's entirely up to you.

I think that might have been my favorite of her haunted house work (so far anyways)!

Another favorite author of mine! Which ones are you reading? I need some title help for this challenge. Lol. My brain is blank for any good ghost titles.... :o

#2. Hotel Chelsea (World’s Scariest Places), Jeremy Bates - sadly this turned out not to be a ghost story as it implied. Weird and dumb twist near the end. Boo! ☹️
#3. Don’t Look Back, Ben Cheetham - this was a good ghost story and I think it left the door open for more. I believe there’s a second book about the house in this one.
#4. Ghostland, Duncan Ralston - hmmm I enjoyed this one but somehow the writing didn’t completely flow for me and it felt like it took longer than usual to read it. Lots of ghosts, some vicious kills until it kind of got blasé. 1st in a series but I don’t think I’ll continue.

Nothing But Blackened Teeth by Cassandra Khaw was delightfully creepy.

ooh, I got my copy from the library today...
I'm working my way through
. So far most of the stories have been great. I especially liked Sir Hugo's Prayer for the humor.

Thanks!

I'm reading the first book in this series. It's so fun.
Also just finished When the Reckoning Comes by LaTanya McQueen, which I have very mixed feelings about, curious to know if others have read it. Lots of ghosts and some real too-true-to-life horror by the end.

The Canterville Ghost - Oscar Wilde
After-Supper Ghost Stories, The Skeleton - Jerome K Jerome
The Doll's Ghost - F. Marion Crawford
All Hallows Eve - Michael Penning (this one's a novel)
Canterville is obviously an all time classic, but "The Doll's Ghost" has been my favourite so far, it was particularly chilly.
