You have some very good books on this list. I've read A Time to Kill, The Warmth of Other Suns, The Poisonwood Bible, The Alice Network, Outlander, Illuminae and The Heart's Invisible Furies. All good, but my top favorites were The Poisonwood Bible and Illuminae. Happy reading!

1.) Billy Summers by Stephen King
-515 pages

I shouldn't be surprised that my first tome of the year is a SK novel. He's my favorite. He'll always be my favorite. But this one was disappointing. It was a "ripped from the headlines" type of story and I felt it was incredibly underwhelming. I did love the ending however. But more could have been done with it.

I did enjoy The Overlook/ The Shining references!

2. The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver- 546 pages

This book is the definition of a saga for sure. A Christian family sent to Africa via a mission trip and all the trials and tribulations along the way. The daughters were so different, and I loved that each chapter is a different point of view. This one takes time to get through it, but it was definitely worth it!!
