I want to be a mod because I think I can keep the group active.
2. What do you have to contribute to the group?
Members can make their personal nooks and chat with each other.
Daily polls can help.
3. This group is dead at the moment, list a couple specific ideas that could be used to revive the group. (please don’t just say “read-a-thon” or “reading challenge”!) If you are not selected, we will not use it, or ask for your permission to use it.
Apart from challenges, personal nooks can help because members will get to know each other and the group can stay active that way. Debates can be kept but it should be in a respectful way.
4. At the moment, look up your total number of comments in the group. How many?
This will be my 2nd comment.
5. How active are you on Goodreads?
Almost whole days of the week.
6. How long have you been in the group?
I joined today.
7. Do you have any specific topic ideas that you'd like to add? (list a few)
Buddy read
Debates
Review contest
Bingo challenges
Games
8. Are you 13 or older?
I'm older.
9. What time zone are you in?
UTC+05:30
10. Are you able to join a Google Hangouts chat with all of the other moderators to discuss things for the group? If not, then a private Goodreads group?
Both works for me.
11. Are you a moderator of any other groups? How have you contributed to them?
I was in one, I contributed in daily polls.
Right now I am in one, as tye challenges mod.
12. Do you believe in standing against discrimination of any kind?
Yes, any kind.
13. Lastly, what do you value in this group?
Members respecting each other. Not hurting each other's feelings.
Thanks for considering my application!
I was on this on my old acc but just rejoined.
Why do you want to be a mod?
I want to be a mod because I am passionate about helping others and keeping groups safe, I moderate several successful groups and I created The Realm of Books and have kept it safe and without drama. I am kind and resourceful and will go out of my way to help others, I love suggesting things and helping others so I believe my passion will be a great help, I am consistently active and a genuinely trustworthy person.
2. What do you have to contribute to the group?
I can contribute my very best care, I will contribute all my personal qualities and won't be a mod that consistently ignores its members. I will be constantly looking for feedback and will always be interacting, I won't be lazy and I am honest and loyal.
I am a very hard working person and will always put the groups interests first.

I believe some polls, book nooks, or review contests would be great ways. At Christmas, you could do a KK Challenge involving giving someone else a list of recs they created (the mods will choose who to send it to) and that person tries to complete the prompts. Little competitions such as The Last One to Post could be held every month with a certificate created for the winner.
A great idea would be to contact members of the group and ASK them what they WANT. To me, the members voices are the most important.
A topic to suggest things to the mods or ask the mods things will go a long way and establish a helpful partnership.
4. At the moment, look up your total number of comments in the group. How many?
This will be my 1st on my new account
5. How active are you on Goodreads?
Basically every day and lets face it, I try to be active even with strict parents so I really shouldn't be on here right now!

Kindness, Respect. I value people standing up for what they believe in and saying what they want and people valuing what one another have to say. We are the youth, we can make a difference.

-I want to be a moderator because I love to help out and make our book communities grow. I am a great leader, and I have a few suggestions for the group.
2. What do you have to contribute to the group?
-I love coming up with new games, and I am pretty active in other groups I mod. I have created a kind of artsy symbol to recognize other groups, and maybe I could do that here? It could help bring life to or promote some groups and that might help a little.
3. This group is dead at the moment, list a couple specific ideas that could be used to revive the group. (please don’t just say “read-a-thon” or “reading challenge”!) If you are not selected, we will not use it, or ask for your permission to use it.
-We could ask members (or non-members) to come up with and vote on some of there favorite activist quotes. They could be from books or from real life situations. (Martin Luther King Jr., Elie Wiesel, people like that.) We could create a sort of e-poster with a collage of the quotes and post it places, advertising our group.
4. At the moment, look up your total number of comments in the group. How many?
-This would be my 17th comment.
5. How active are you on Goodreads?
-I am getting more and more active, but for a while I was gone. (the start of school) I would be active very much in the summer.
6. How long have you been in the group?
-I joined June 26th, 2021

-T/F on Activists in History
-Virtual ebook suggestions
8. Are you 13 or older?
-Yes!
9. What time zone are you in?
