Hello, I've got two nominations for the group. First is a psychological horror novel, Golem. More in line with books like The Shining, The Silence of the Lambs, or Interview with the Vampire type of horror rather than the gore splatter fest horror. Here's the book link on Goodreads: Golem
Second nomination is Vol 1 of my dystopian scifi series, The Rose. The story follows a species of alien vampires attempting to subjugate the human population after WW3. Here's the Goodreads link for Vol 1: The Rose (Vol. 1) A Dystopian Science Fiction Thriller
I'd be more than willing to provide free digital copies to members of the group.
Thank you for the opportunity,
PD Alleva

How do you all feel about reading my latest children's book?
Review -
"Ronaldo turns detective...
His favourite teacher is fired.
Dastardly deeds are afoot.
But can he prove it before a sinister reindeer claims the top spot at Flying Academy?"

Thanks for your consideration
Maxine and Ronaldo

Thank you so much for considering it! It really means a lot.

I would like to nominate my gaslamp fantasy novel, Servant of the Lesser Good, again. It has wide appeal, is relatively clean, and different to any thing you've read before (according to the reviews). It's not too long at about 300 pages, and the genre is slice of life, historical, magical fantasy.
The reviews are great so far, pretty sure most people here will enjoy it.

High Mistress Talia is a hell-raising socialite with a murky past. But she has a bright future. Beautiful, rich, and a virtuoso harpist, she’s betrothed to the Count of Brecht. In short, she has it all. Or so it would seem.
Marla Holst is the new lady’s maid, but never has the ‘help’ been so unhelpful. Marla, real name Mist, has only one mission: to stop the high mistress’s marriage. By any means necessary.
But complications abound. Talia’s disturbed daughter, a girl who can see into the future, is cursed with the stigma of a devil-worshipping father. The count’s father, the Duke of Rizak, is a recluse, too afraid of assassins to show his face. And all the nobility want to do is duel.
Meanwhile, the highlight of the season—a recital of the famous ‘Cursed Symphony,’ draws ever closer.

Servant of the Lesser Good
Thank you for your consideration :)

My name is Laura Strobel and I would very much like to nominate my book called, Accountability which is a riveting true story of personal growth and self-empowerment through a terrible ordeal that I believe will inspire many others.
At sixty-one years old, and having been married now for over thirty years, the incident that happened early on in my marriage irrevocably impacted my life. This story, told with compassion and a bit of humor, shares a valuable message that I believe women of every age, ethnic background and culture will embrace as their own truth. By outlining the structure of the twenty-six week course on anger-management that I attended; using the worksheets and tools that the counselor applied, I offer an interesting and comprehensive view of new insights into better communication for a more harmonious home life.
I have had three professional reviews and they were all outstanding ! If you would like to visit my website at:https://www.laurastrobelauthor.com/ you can read or listen to the first chapter ( I made a professional audio book and narrated the book myself ) and learn more about me and my book!
Thank you for your consideration and the opportunity to get my message out there!

Where are you from? - Life gets interesting when one has no simple answer to this question. Does this resonate with you?
Colours of a Cultural Chameleon is Kamala's story as she grows up in different countries (Belgium, India, the Netherlands) and travels the globe to the South American continent & further beyond through the splendours & perils of the Silk Road. This is a coming of age book where she explores her boundaries, soaking up new cultures, trusting strangers & having adventures.
"a touching story of how a young girl discovers the small challenges & joys of life that cut across geographical & cultural boundaries" - Jessica
It's an easy read with a positive vibe & could be classified as women's fiction & coming of age (new adult).
I've loved writing this book & would love to spread the word so others, especially multicultural kids/adults, are able to relate & cherish their own identity
