Play Book Tag discussion

Left over from last month's tag.

Color me surprised and pleased. I didn't know what to expect from the creator of Harry Potter but it wasn't this. It is far from the fantasy of Harry Potter but it is very good indeed. I'll be reading more of this series.

The story and characters were good and all through it, I had hoped that Robin, who is working for Cormoran on a temporary basis will be able to stay. Cormoran isn't a very prosperous private detective, he really can't afford to hire anyone. He's fairly new at this but was a detective in the military. Cormoran just kind of fell into the job after a bad time. He's an amputee that tries hard to hide it. He's recently split from his girlfriend of 15 years. Life has not been treating him well but he has a new client that looks to pay pretty well and could get him out of the hole. A famous model fell from an apartment building to her death. Her brother thinks it was murder. Cormoran was a friend of his brother when they were kids so he goes to him to solve this issue and find the murderer.

This audio was excellent which doesn't surprise me as it received awards for its production.
