Hi all!!

I've been racking my brain all night for this book that I once read (and conveniently forgot to add to my GR) and I was wondering if anyone remembers it and knows what its called?

Its the story of this girl, whom I believe is a witch (but could be wrong) and she goes back to her hometown where all the girls of the same age group have to go to this night where their powers are unlocked? And some big disaster happens, like this big fire, and she suddenly becomes a target, and she lives in a little cottage and is being protected by this dude.

I know its super vague but I read it a long time ago and really want to read it/finish the series.
