Penelope | 167 comments Four stars. I was very pleasantly surprised too. When I started reading and even to the end of the first act I thought that maybe it wasn't for me. Did I really want to be concerned with women who seemed to be intent only with finding the right man. Thankfully I was wrong and this book is so much more than that. Daniela Krien writes women so well, all their concerns and struggles, children, parents and especially relationships with each other.

kubelot | 109 comments You are making me really curious, I'll probably start reading it beginning next week.
I'm finishing Muldental and really loving it, although I'm not a big fan of short stories. I'll let it sink in for a few days, then I'll reach for Love in Five Acts

@Lizzy anything particular You didn't like in Irgendwann werden wir uns alles erzählen? Read it in german, straight after Neujahr found it dartk and depressing, but actually pretty good

I read it a good few years ago, so sorry, I can’t remember specifics. I do know that I no longer have the book on my shelves - a reliable indication that I wasn’t so fond of it.

However, I did review it on my blog .. and I see I allude to metaphorical depths. I love those. Curious.
