If you have not read it, Pachinko is a great novel. Starts in Korea, then moves to Japan where many of the family moved. If you have read it, I suggest a fun series by Martin Limon - he writes about U.S. military investigators who are in Korea after the war where the US helped the South Koreans in the civil war of the 1950. Not really a civil war but war between North and South with a lot of assistance from other countries. So unfair. peace, janz
