What is a character castle? That's a wonderfully good question...

A character castle is a forum where you bring your characters and rp them. They interact with other peoples' characters and it can really help with character development. That being said, here are a few rules to keep in mind (breaking any rules with a * beside them will result in being banned from the castle after one warning)

1. NO CUSSING! *

2. Be respectful to each other even if your characters are being jerks. :)

3. Try to be active, but don't spam. If there's five posts in between your characters, that's not a reason to panic.

4. Any character is welcome, hero or villain, incomplete or fully developed.

5. Characters may enter or leave the castle at the writer’s choice.

6. The castle is meant to test your characters so all actions within group's and castles rules are allowed. However, certain crimes may incur the wrath of the castle and/or its guardians. Villains beware.

7. The number of active characters shall be no more than 10 to allow writers to easily keep up with who is in. *

8. Invent rooms at will. The castle’s floor plan changes at random so if you can’t remember the map, who cares.

9. Going beyond the castle’s outer ramparts is impossible. This is to limit the size to a degree and encourage character interaction.

10. Have fun. *

Other information

1. This isn't your typical role-play. The point of this is to develop your characters and your writing skills, so write your characters as though you're writing an excerpt from your WIP.
Case in point: It annoys people (ME) when you write like you're rp-ing. Please spare us the *the character does this* "i did this thing!" nonsense. We're called writers for a reason! XD
