Jan | 20742 comments Interactive Geocaching Treasure Hunt
Ongoing

Geocaching is a type of treasure hunting hobby that uses GPS coordinates to help searchers find hidden "treasures" in their community, country or around the world. There are many kinds of Geocaching, but we are going to take the basic concept and work together to complete a given GPS coordinate (latitude/longitude) and upon completion, the treasure will be revealed.

Here's how it will work:
For the given coordinate (seen in the next post), you will claim ONE number which will correspond to your book in one of three ways.
✤ The series number of your book or
✤ The LAST number in the ORIGINAL publication year of your book or
✤ A number included in the total page count of your book

Then Post a Comment Indicating:
✤ The number you are claiming and whether it is from the longitude OR latitude.
✤ Include the link to your book and how it fits by including either the series number, publication year or page count. I will then mark the number as claimed.
✤ Be sure to return and let us know when you have completed the book so your number can be marked as finished. You may then claim a new number.

IMPORTANT: It will be necessary that you check the current post below for claimed numbers BEFORE claiming a new number. We will not be able to rely on the previous post for "what's next". I will try to stay on top of updating but please be patient as we progress.

THE TREASURE: When all the numbers are claimed and marked as finished, the treasure will be revealed. We will then start another hunt with new coordinates.

Let's start the hunt!
