I love Quinn so much, I just want to give him a hug

Quinn is one of my all time favorite characters. I'm also curious to know more about Quinn's relationship with Christian. We know how close Quinn and Addam are, but Quinn also talks about how both of his brothers have never treated him like he's a waste, and we knew Addam attended concerts with his brothers, plural, meaning all 3 hung out together. But we never really see any Quinn/Christian interactions.

I also love how, despite his opinion of seers, Rune's protective instinct still takes over when it comes to Quinn once everyone else shows up.

I love the reason Rune gives for the level of gun control in New Atlantis: guns ruin the sense of spectacle. And that makes perfect sense as the reason behind a law created by old, magically powerful individuals with flares for the dramatic.

Rune's reaction to Cieran using mind control on Brand and mind control being a line for him makes me worry it played a role in what happened to Rune. I'm scared to get the full story of that night.

On a happier note: I love Ciaran's protectiveness of Quinn and how not happy he is that Rune left him in a coma. Quinn needs more people to love him.

I have to believe this is a huge bread crumb in the trail. It was so visceral. The hints are tiny, but they're accumulating. And if we look at where it has led Rune, you know they have to bring us a heart-stopping reveal. Nervous, but anxious to know.

I agree. If Rune is that upset that might be a clue to what happened to Rune that night. As eager as I am to read Book 3 there might be parts that will be tough. I plan to read it with the thought that Rune will manage to destroy all of his enemies.

I'm surviving on the idea that Rune cannot be anything but triumphant in the end. That, and I hope I live long enough for it to be finished :)
