The Tarot Sequence 2022 Readalong discussion

We're so very excited to have you join us for this marathon readalong!

The third book of The Tarot Sequence will be released in May, and the readalong is a part of our initiative to help promote the release, invite new readers, and have some festive New Atlantean fun. We'll be starting with The Last Sun in February and ending with The Great Atlantean Battle Royalchemy in April, reading through the designated chapters every week, having discussions, donning our tin foil crowns and spinning theories. There will be separate discussion threads for the chapters, so please check the topic headings to make sure you're commenting in the right thread.

It goes without saying that we expect everyone to conduct themselves with integrity. Racism, homophobia, and any other comments intending harm, hate, and disrespect will not be tolerated. Varying opinions are wonderful and bring depth and excitement to book discussions, but not when said opinion begins and ends at "Fun story but too many gays."

Q&As with K.D. will happen every Saturday to Sunday on our Twitter account (@TTSPromo) where you can ask questions regarding the content we read for the week. Why Twitter? Because it's K.D's social media of choice and his previous Twitter Q&As have gone swimmingly.

Every Saturday, we'll add a link to the Twitter thread in the Q&A folder. If you don't use Twitter, you can comment with your questions under the link and a mod will ask them on your behalf and report back with the answers.

I haven't really done a managed read-along before (because reasons). I see the four Week 1 topics and had a general question. What exactly are they used for (other than being on topic): For Q&A only? Any/all relevant comments? During that relevant week only or can we go back later on with follow up questions?

Hey Meghan! Those are used for liveblogging, not Q&A! Basically for commenting with your thoughts on what you just read, asking discussion questions to other readers, stuff like that. We'll be making a separate topic folder for the Q&As during the weekend.

I noticed the Battle Royalchemy is on the calendar in April!

Does mean it will be finished? :D
