For this challenge, we have 20 prompts, based on events that occur during February, as well as events occurring in the Islamic month of Rajab, which begins on the 2nd February and ends at the beginning of March this year. Each prompt can only be used once, unless you somehow manage to get through all of them.

You can also gain points for the length of the book, reading the BOTM, reading a book by a Muslim author or buddy reading a book, as seen below:

1-100 pages: 5 points
101-200 pages: 10 points
201-300 pages: 20 points
301-400 pages: 30 points
401-500 pages: 40 points
500-600 pages: 50 points

Reading the BOTM: 20 points
Book by a Muslim author: 10 points
Buddy reading a book: 10 points
Reviewing a book: 10 points

29th Jan - 5th Feb 2022 - National Storytelling Week
- Read a book about books
- Read a biography/autobiography

11th February - International Day of Women and Girls in Science
- Read a book relating to STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths)
- Read a book with a strong female protagonist

14th February - Valentine’s day
- Read a romance book
- Read a book with a red cover
