Assalamu Alaikum everyone, and welcome to our February Challenge!
For this challenge, we have 20 prompts, based on events that occur during February, as well as events occurring in the Islamic month of Rajab, which begins on the 2nd February and ends at the beginning of March this year. Each prompt can only be used once, unless you somehow manage to get through all of them.
You can also gain points for the length of the book, reading the BOTM, reading a book by a Muslim author or buddy reading a book, as seen below:

(view spoiler)[Rajab - Jerusalem was liberated by Salahuddin Ayyubi This occurred during the Third Crusade, in 1187. This was difficult, as he first had to work to unite the Muslims against the Crusaders.
Rajab - 2nd pledge at Aqabah This was a special pledge of allegiance to the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
9th Rajab - Battle of Tabuk This was the Prophet Muhammad SAW’s largest and last expedition.
13th Rajab - birth of Ali ibn Abu Talib Ali was the cousin and one of the first followers of the Prophet Muhammad SAW – he believed the Prophet at around the age of 9. He was also known for being the 4th caliph of Islam, and for his bravery.
27th Rajab - the Night Journey This was a special, miraculous journey made by the Prophet Muhammad SAW in one night. He travelled from Makkah on the big of a creature that was similar to a horse, called al-Buraq, to Jerusalem, where he led the rest of the rest of the prophets in prayer – hence why Jerusalem is the 3rd holiest site in Islam. From there, he ascended up the seven heavens, meeting different prophets, until he met Allah. He returned with the gift of Salah, or prayer. (hide spoiler)]
