I'm just going to move some posts here.

Teresa; Sometimes I don't understand GR. I get notifications from 'friends'. Some times I haven't connected with these people for a while. My daughter is one of my friends on GR. I NEVER get any notifications of her reads or reviews. She sends me a text to say she reviewed a book and will I look and see what I think of it. Crazy!!

Carol SSN Have you sorted your friend into Top Friends & Friends? That may help a little.

But I think the algorithm GR uses means that you are more likely to see reviews from popular reviewers if they are on your friends list.

& my feed seems to only move about once every 16 hours.

Teresa; Oh right Carol. Didn't know you could sort them. I have very basic understanding of technology.

Carol SSN If you go into your profile, click on your friends list.
At the top you should see edit friends on the right.
Click on that & uncheck anyone you don't want to be a top friend. Click on done editing when you finish. I think you have to do it page by page

Jackie; I didn't realize I have a "feed" here. in fact, I can't find it. I went to my profile and can find friends and groups but no feed.

I guess that's best since I can't keep up with what I already know how to do!

& when I say feed, I'm referring to what you see when you click the Home button.

I've clicked on my home/feed button - you should see your own here. https://www.goodreads.com/?ref=nav_home

Now, on the right hand side of the feed, you should see a cog, with the word customize beside it. This will give you some options on what you see. If you only want to see reviews you can click on that. In the second part if you only want to see the reviews of your Top Friends you can click on that. :)
