Hassan | 52 comments After the events of the first movie, Buster Moon's new theatre is flourishing but fails to impress a talent scout who remarks that they wouldn't "make it" in Redshore city. Willing to prove the scout wrong, he and his friends head to the city and sneak into an audition with Jimmy Crystal, a famous entertainment magnate. Jimmy is intrigued when Gunter proposes a musical featuring Clay Calloway, (a famous musician who hasn't been seen in 15 years) leading jimmy to set a 3-week deadline for the show's preparation. Meanwhile Rosita develops a fear of heights which causes buster to give her role to Jimmy's daughter Porsha. Johnny is assigned to work with Klaus the choreographer, but instead gets dancing lessons from a street dancer named Nooshy. And Meena is supposed to rehearse a love scene but can't feel the true emotions of romance until she falls in love with a vendor named Alfonso. Buster and Ash attempt to persuade a reclusive Calloway to come preform, and after a heart-to-heart conversation they manage to convince him. Upon returning Buster gives Porsha's role back to Rosita, upsetting Porsha causing jimmy Starr to threaten and nearly kill him. The crew encourages Buster not to give up and as the show begins, Porsha preforms an upbeat song on stage, angering Jimmy who is trying to sabotage the show. Meena preforms her romantic duet confidently and during Rosita's and Gunter's act, Jimmy tries to throw buster off a platform but is foiled when Rosita rescues him. Ash helps Calloway preform resulting in an impressed audience. Jimmy attempts to appear nice but is embarrassed when buster and his crew flee during his monologue. He is later arrested, and Buster's crew preforms at more venues in Redshore city.

This movie is a 4/5 for its originality, plot, characters, and design. I really liked the plot because it was more unique than movies nowadays. I feel that it might be similar to the first movie, but you can only make so many movies about singing animals.
