flag

Savannah stepped up to the flag, holding Lizzie by her wrist. "Whyyyyy," Lizzie whined. She didn't want to play, but Savannah had just sighed, murmured a "Sorry", and literally dragged her to the flag. There weren't many people were there yet, talking in clusters. Savannah clapped her hands to get everyone's attention, saying, "Does anyone have ideas for how to beat the blue team?" in a condescending tone, like she didn't believe any of them did, but still felt forced to ask, just in case.

Katelyn shook her head, saying loudly, "Well, if nobody has any plans, I guess we'll just have to surrender. And you know the Hunters are ruthless with their prisoners of war." She enjoyed seeing the panic rise on her teammates faces, and loud, fearful whispers were exchanged. "What are you doing?" Lizzie hissed, tugging on her friend's arm. "Just wait," Savannah whispered back, trying to hide the smile tugging at her lips. She knew that nobody wanted to surrender, so they would come up with plans and actually be useful.

Savannah couldn't stop her smile, squeezing Lizzie's hand, as if saying "I told you so". She walked over to the boy, who looked older than herself, but it seemed like this was his first game. Perfect. "So, do you have any ideas so far?" She asked, her voice losing all tones of hostility.

Savannah just barely stopped herself from screaming at the top of her lungs. "That's...a good starting point. What about we attack them from the front, lure them away from their flag, then go and take it from the back?" Savannah suggested, trying for it to not sound like she was taking control like she always did.

"Sooooo," Savannah paused, realizing she had failed at not taking control. "Who's your godly parent?" It sounded like a stupid question when she said it allowed, so she quickly added, "So I can know what position you go to." Well, that didn't make it much better, she chided herself.

Red
"Mmm," Savannah mused, the gears in her head spinning out of control. "Can you do the showy glowing stuff?" She asked. If he could, he would be put on distraction. If he couldn't, he would be the one sneaking in through the back.
