* It came in at #59 on the final Great American Read list.
* The series has an average Goodreads rating of 4.09.
This series has a different publication order vs chronological order. The first book published was The Hunt for Red October while Without Remorse is the first in chronological order.

At the time the GAR list was released there were 24 books in the series, since then more have been added. Books 1-16 were written by Tom Clancy, books 17-24 were written after his death.
