Out of my Mind - Sharon Draper
The Library of Ever - Zeno Alexander
OCDaniel - Wesley King
The School of Good and Evil series books 1-3 - Soman Chainani
Septimus Heap series books 1-4 - Angie Sage
Tears of a Tiger - Sharon Draper
You Go First - Erin Entrada Kelly
Yusuf Azeem is Not a Hero - Saadi Faruqi
Zombierelle: Fairy Tales Gone Bad - Joseph Coelho
The Greatest Superpower - Alex Sanchez
The Troubled Girls of Dragomir Academy - Anne Ursu
When Stars are Scattered - Victoria Jamieson
All 17 of these were amazing reads, but if I had to pick, I would say that the best 4 were OCDaniel by Wesley King, Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper, Yusuf Azeem is Not a Hero by Saadi Faruqi, and The Greatest Superpower by Alex Sanchez.

By the way, there is a companion book to OCDaniel (on my to read list, Sara and the Search for Normal).

Oh, wow! I would love to read a companion novel! Thanks for that info. I'll have to keep checking my library since they don't have it right now, but I will definitely be putting in on my TBR list.

I have read the first few pages and am liking it thus far.

Illustrated Myths Legends of China: The Ages of Chaos and Heroes was amazing as most stories are of lesser known ones, or delve much deeper into the popular ones. I also love the fact that it has pictures of museum items through the ages of Chinese history. These items are from regional museums in China and around the world eg Taiwan, USA. Depicting the particular story being described, these works of art and artifacts demonstrate how far reaching the myth and legends are.
Nisha's War is set in WW2, about a biracial Malaysian refugee girl who finds a new life in Scotland after escaping the horrors of the Japanese invasion.

The Boy Who Grew Dragons-Andy Shepherd
Just Jake-Jake Marcionette (he is a kid author!)
The Get Rich Quick Club-Dan Gutman
Stinkbomb & Ketchup-Face And The Badness of Badgers-John Dougherty

My personal faves from last month were the Girl Giant duology by Van Hoang ... and the second book in the Myrtle Hardcastle series by Elizabeth C. Bunce.
