Ishbel's Party is close to this theme. She's not suicidal, but she's so racked with guilt that she wishes she'd died and had definitely given up on life.

Fantasy by Emma Darcy. The heroine walks in on her fiancee in flagrante delicto with another man and decides to end it all by walking into the ocean. That's when the hero saves her life, leading to romantic antics.
Temptation by Charlotte Lamb is a much darker read where a much older man gets sexually involved w & then dumps the heroine. The heroine tries suicide but with her father's help recovers. Then she meets the hero again years later.
