I had yet to come across this book but it looks great.

Excellent book; one of my favorites from last year. I liked the insights into Algerian literature and publishing.

Just finished this - thanks for the recommendation, don’t think I’d have found it otherwise.

Interesting, understated book, which covers some shocking national events but is also very good at the rhythms and kindnesses of daily life.

Late to this discussion but very proud of myself for reading a book as part of a book group - albeit late. I'm a bit of a mood reader myself so it's hard to get myself to read a book with a deadline.
