50.1 Lisa MD: “I’M GOING TO TEACH YOU HOW TO SING IT OUT”

Ever get a song lyric stuck in your head? The chorus repeats itself over and over again on an endless reel throughout the day. Well, I recently heard an old Jackson 5 song, ABC, which got stuck in the background soundtrack of my life. This old song from my childhood has been stuck in my head for weeks! There is only one thing I could think to do and that was sing it out.

This task is inspired by the chorus of ABC.

(A) Read one book for each chorus option
OR
(B) choose one option and read three books which meet the task requirement for each of the letters, numbers or musical notes mentioned in the option.

Books should total 750 pages or more. No books with the main page genre of childrens or kids may be used.

Chorus:
A B C, It's easy as
1 2 3, as simple as
Do re mi, A B C, 1 2 3
Baby you and me girl

REQUIRED: Indicate the option you chose.

Option 1: ABC
Read one book where the first word of the title begins with either the letter A, B, or C. All title words count, including “A” or “An.”

Option 2: 123
Read one book which is either number 1,2, or 3 in a series. Series name and number must appear in greyscale in the Goodreads data.

Option 3: Do Re Mi
Read one book with either “do,” “re,” or “mi” found intact in a title word. REQUIRED: Include title word and musical note used in your post.

Examples:
(A) 1. Annihilation - title starts with A
2. Deadline - #2 in series
3. The Couple Next Door - DO in word Door

OR

(B) option 1:
Annihilation
Broken Prince
Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder

OR

option 2:
numbers 1, 2, 3 in series (don't have to be the same series)

for book 2 - the series = does it matter how many books have been released in the series, as long as it has a series indicator?

It makes no difference how many books are in the series. You just have to read either the first, second or third in any series.

I want to double check before I post this. I want to use this book for option 2.

All Creatures Great and Small

GR lists it as #1-2 in the All Creatures Great and Small series. They were originally 8 books and then re-released into 4 two-book volumes, which is the books most people know now. Is this OK?
