This is the spot to discuss Joheved (Rashi's Daughters #1), which has been inexplicably missing from our bookshelf, an omission hereby remedied.
If you haven't read it, do. If you have, you can discuss it here anyway.

Maggie Anton | 42 comments I'm pleasantly surprised that the Jewish Book Club is discussing my debut novel. I'm not going to toot my own horn here, but I'm certainly open to answering questions. I do want to recommend visiting the Readers Guide on the Joheved website. https://www.rashisdaughters.com/reade...

Yay, the author. I read all three books multiple times and cried at the end of books 2 and 3. Sorry I might not have reviews because it was probably pre good reads. If this discussion heats up I’ll have to have Maggie guess my favorite daughter.

Maggie Anton | 42 comments Even when I reread Joheved, which I do regularly, I still cry at the ending.

That’s the one book I don’t cry at the end of. I need to get really involved with characters and that usually comes toward the end of a series for me.

I was going to say that if an author jumps in, the discussion might morph into an author presentation, with others deferring to the author instead of expressing their own thoughts.

But my worries didn't materialize. Brina did express her own thoughts. And so did Maggie! ☺️ 👍
