Play Book Tag discussion

Emmy Lake continues to work for Women's Friend magazine where conditions have definitely improved with a new editor. The magazine is asked to help recruit women war workers and Emmy starts a series on women working in a munition factory. Emmy is also becoming more serious about her boyfriend, Charles. Fortunately the author used a lot less random capitalization this time around, something that annoyed me in the first book in the series. The plot having to do with lack of childcare for women's workers was interesting but I do wish some more time had been spent with the other people at the magazine and Emmy's best friend Bunty. It looks like the author is going to continue the series and I do plan to continue reading it.
