Oh my...

I was out of the country for work last week and didn't have service. I'm back now and seeing that we had a 4-way tie for our August BOTM. Yikes lol

I don't want to waste time doing a run-off, so instead, let's try our best to read two this month and two next.

For August, we'll read Crystalborne Sigils & Dead Editor File

Try to get started quickly since we have two to read, and don't forget to post the link to your review here on this thread. Also, let's try to have a more active thread by commenting as we read, letting everyone know what you think as you go.

I've picked up Dead Editor File but haven't yet started it. I'm close to the ends of some other books I've been reading, so I plan to start this one after I've finished at least a couple of those. With that, I'll probably dive into the book near the end of this week.

I've just gotten started with Dead Editor File.

I like how it jumps right in with the mystery, rather than giving a chapters-long lead-in like some cozy mysteries do. It seems like it'll be an easy read and probably a fast one, too.

I don't have my full review put together yet, but will post the link when it's ready. I can say that I enjoyed the story, a nice little cozy mystery, but I found the frequent and sudden point-of-view jumps made for an uneven read.
