TOLKIEN 08: The Letters

As predicted, I read the letters together with the biography. I can say the letters were tremendously interesting, because one gets a direct insight into the mind of that great author, however it is not a required reading, as one'll get the gist of them while reading any available biography of the author. So, if you are a perfectionist and Tolkien admirer, you'll read them, if not, freely skip them.
So, this month we'll still be on Tolkien's bio and letters, before moving on his tales of the First and Second Age. Of course, you can start right now with those if you've already done this book. Hopefully I'll catch up with you soon!
