SFF Readalongs led by Kitty G discussion

This is the thread for Tigana where we can start to think about this book. I have heard such wonderful things about Kay generally and I hear that this is a brilliant place to start with his work. I know he is held dear in a lot of fantasy-lovers' hearts and that he writes involved, character and world-driven historical fantasy books.
It's a new foray into his work for myself, and I cannot wait to see how it goes. Hopefully some of you will join me and I look forward to discovering the (apparently) wonderful world of Kay :)

ive heard alot of good things about guy gavriel kay, but i never read anything by him. this will be my first. i dont know anything about the book, but im still excited. its been a while since i went into a book blind, so hopfuly Kays reputation lives up...

also this is my first time ever doing a buddy-read/readalong. hopefully it will be alot of fun and the first of many.

since i dont have enough time to get a physical copy, ill be listening to the audiobook, which is good, because i read very slowly and i probably wouldnt have been able to keep up with the group otherwise.

I've heard great things about this book. It was also a Vaginal Fantasy pick. I wasn't able to pick and up and read it during that time. My friends that have read it say wonderful things about it, so I'm looking forward to it.
