This past weekend I finished

Origin of the Sphinx by Raye Wagner
This one was a prequel to her sphinx series which I haven't read yet. I'm glad I read this first though. Easy to follow and really entertaining for such a short novella.

I also read Traitor to the Throne by Alwyn Hamilton
This was a 5 star read and it is the second book in the Rebel of the Sands trilogy. The first book got 4 stars so this one really outdid itself. Loved LOVED loved it!!

Y'all.....I was really let down by this book. I know lots of you have read it and enjoyed it but I just didn't......The last few chapters were the only parts that actually felt like a true thriller to me...The rest was like filler.... I'm so sad I didn't enjoy it more.

Would recommend, but not a life changing ponder it later type of read.

I listened to the audio book.
Has a decent narrator, however also has voice actors as voice overs for some of the dialogue.

While not too raw does have some sexual assault and drug abuse.

Can be kinda teen angsty where you just wanna shout at the main character talk to an adult!

The who dunnit kept me guessing, and wasn't obvious when looking back over the clues, but wasn't so random, you couldn't see where it fit in... if that makes any sense. One part was kinda unbelievable/why does this pertain.
