I finished the book and I really liked it

I finished it and liked it as well. So glad for both of these storylines to come around.

I’ve got one book ahead of it.

I'm about halfway through. This one has been slow going for me mainly because the flashback scenes are excessive. I'm hoping that now the story is getting closer to the present scenes, the pace will pick up.

It was slower for me, too, exact same reason.

I'm finished and it did pick up at the halfway point.
To be honest, I am a bit disappointed in this installment. I was looking forward to Gina and Max's story, but it just did not resonate.

There are so many convoluted plot points and twists that it all becomes too much after a while and the resolution is completely far-fetched and not believable.

Moreover, Gina and Max's romance doesn't live up to the potential established in the previous books, and Molly and Jones never really resonated with me.

The ending was sweet though .
