Oct-Nov-Dec 2022 | Book selection: Nonfiction published by an African publisher

I found this great website selling books by African publishers internationally, with a huge nonfiction selection: https://www.africanbookscollective.com/
Here's one I found from that website that I'd like to read:
Hopes and Dreams That Sound Like Yours: Stories of Queer Activism in Sub-Saharan Africa / https://www.africanbookscollective.co... /
We are currently reading nonfiction from Cassava Republic (Formation: The Making of Nigeria From Jihad to Amalgamation) but could always choose another: https://cassavarepublic.biz/product-c...
Perhaps: Female Fear Factory / https://cassavarepublic.biz/product/f...
Another interesting publisher I found:
https://witspress.co.za/our-catalogue/
Any other catalogues or specific books to share?

I am asking around a bit to find a few African more publishers that sell internationally.
This one has a lot of interesting stuff, many that step outside of the types of books we've read for this project so far: https://jacana.co.za/shop/
A few gems I found:
- African Muckraking: 75 Years of Investigative Journalism from Africa
- Rethinking Africa: Indigenous women re-interpret Southern African pasts
- The Rarest Bird in the World: The Search for the Nechisar Nightjar (nature writing)
- A Brief History of South Africa: From Earliest Times to the Mandela Presidency
- All Rise: Resistance and Rebellion in South Africa (graphic novel)
Jacana doesn't seem to ship internationally but I did find a few of these titles on other websites and Amazon (search for "Jacana Media").
It's mostly fiction so not eligible for this project, but I have to share the title of this anthology: The Beautyful Ones Have Just Been Born: The Gerald Kraak Anthology
