Thanks! I have read 28 books so far. I am going to try to put them up here this weekend, it is kind of hard to find the time these days. :/

Saw a post on instagram with an excerpt from the book and it really resonated with me. I would normally not like a book like that a lot, but in many parts it was somehow exactly what I needed to hear at the moment.

A Good Girl's Guide to Murder (A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, #1) by Holly Jackson

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

3.5 stars actually.
I must say, I normally prefer true crime over fictional crime stories. Then I saw this book being recommended on BookTok and decided to give it a go. And I was actually hooked and enjoyed it overall.
In contrast to other reviews I read on here, I liked the first part better than the following. It just started to feel a bit like Pretty Little Liars or Riverdale (Season 1 or 2, not the crap that's going on now).
Also I liked Pip as the main character, her being the boring hard-worker in school kind of felt relatable to me.

I loved this so much, I want to cry.
Finished it a few hours ago and still don't know how to put into words what I feel. What I do know is, that I am definitely gojng to re-read it some day, that it's definitely my favorite book I've read this year so far and it it definitely also one of my all-time favs.

**spoiler alert**

Oof. If I hadn't been reading the last 100 pages or so on public transportation, I would for sure have wept like a baby. As much as I appreciate Rick Riordan seemingly addressing an older audience with this series, at some point throughout this book I just wished back to good old Percy Jackson times, when the plot was somewhat forseeable and you just knew everything would be fine without having to deal with the possible death of a beloved character.

Good Girl, Bad Blood (A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, #2) by Holly Jackson

Really picked up after the first 200 pages, wasn't quite sure how I liked it until then. It felt more fast-paced then the first one, which I liked, and really gripped me at some point. I really hope Pip gets some therapy from now on.

Title: The Cat Who Saved Books (physical)
The Cat Who Saved Books by Sōsuke Natsukawa
Author: Sosuke Natsukawa
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very cute and lovely book, overall with a cozy atmosphere. It is a rather quick read, but the story isn't too fast-paced and there is plenty of time to connect especially with the main character as he develops over the course of the book. It also provided moments where I had to laugh, got me on the verge of tears at times and presents some things to reflect on. Would recommend to cat and book lovers.

Title: Just Your Local Bisexual Disaster (physical)
Just Your Local Bisexual Disaster by Andrea Mosqueda
Author: Andrea Mosqueda
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tore through this book in a day and really enjoyed it. Many things I could relate to, the sister-conversations cracked me up (although Alyssa is the standard funny-little-sibling-character you also find in many TV shows) and it overall was really wholesome. Funnily enough I read this while wearing a flannel and cuffed pants so I especially enjoyed the playing with bisexual-stereotypes. 😅

Title: The Luminous Dead (physical)
The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling

Wow. The author really managed to captivate the claustriphobic feeling of the cave. I especially enjoyed the psychological aspects and trying to figure to out what's real and what's not, together with Gyre. I was really hooked from the start and did not want to put the book down.
