M.J. Webb (mjwebb) | 29 comments Hi,
Thank you for the opportunity to post. I previously penned a fantasy trilogy but after a break of ten years or so, I have published a thriller which is in need of some reviews please?

A Child of Szabo is free on Kindle Unlimited in the UK. For review purposes I would provide electronic files in any format.

Here are some comments from Amazon UK, Goodreads and my own website, mjwebbbooks.com;

"Stonking Good Action! Loved the historical touches combined with the fast-paced, raw action.... A tremendous page-turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat for the entire white-knuckle ride!"

"Really enjoyed reading this book. Very well written. Loads of action, and obviously very well researched. Best book I’ve read in a long time."

" An extremely fast paced and adrenaline filled read. Descriptive, gripping and empathetic. I couldn’t put it down."

"Brilliant. If Jason Bourne and Lara Croft had a love child..."

"I saw this book on Amazon and brought it for the reviews. I was blown away by the pace of the action and couldn't put it down. I would recommend this to anyone who likes fast paced, action-packed thrillers."

"Never heard of the author before but saw the reviews online and wanted to give it a go. Reads a bit like a Robert Ludlam novel, so anyone who likes the Bourne movies will enjoy this book."

"Found this through Goodreads, thoroughly enjoyed."

"My attention was grasped in the first few pages. I’ve heard it likened to James Bond adventures, which I personally find far-fetched and totally unbelievable. This, however, has been so well researched. Such incredible detail while keeping you on the edge of your seat and keeping you on tenterhooks as to what is coming next... I also like the clever way the author has presented the chapters. I sincerely hope M.J. Webb is already working on another adventure."

Offered one final chance of redemption by an enigmatic stranger, she is recruited into a secret society of assassins formed by Winston Churchill. She must battle for survival against unknown enemies in a do or die existence to become the best. Only then can she take out those who killed her family. Those who are now trying to kill her.

M.J. Webb (mjwebb) | 29 comments Woohoo !

Grateful to receive a 4 Star review from the U.S. at last. :-)

'An Action Packed Thriller - The child of Szabo was an abused orphan, toughened by years of being passed about in British foster homes. When she is about to be expelled from the last school that will have anything to do with her, a secret organization recruiter offers her a new life, one that turns her into a deadly assassin. She picks a new name, Erin, but through the course of her missions, adapts new names for each mission. Her last mission finds her in a form of witness protection, masquerading as a prison guard because an unidentified organization is trying to kill her. She teams with the prison warden to escape an attempt on her life and fights through several more attempts with him, only to find that the organization after her is Szabo. Erin seems to have lost all empathy and emotion in the number of killings she has performed and in action, is almost invincible as a fighter, marksman and strategist. It doesn't hurt that she is also extremely attractive. The story is a page turner which follows the time honored thriller formula of throwing the protagonist into impossible situations in every chapter, to see if and how they get out of it. I received a complimentary copy, asking for a review and I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It's hard to understand why it hasn't been picked up by more people; perhaps because it was written for a British audience? I recommend it.'

Nice one - thank you !

M.J. Webb (mjwebb) | 29 comments Hi Jill. Yes I am. I have struggled to attract reviews on goodreads so every one is precious. I do not pay for reviews so that's partly why. Happy to provide an electronic file. If interested please let me know. Thanks and best wishes.

M.J. Webb (mjwebb) | 29 comments Still looking for reviews and offering a free electronic file if anyone is interested? :-)

M.J. Webb (mjwebb) | 29 comments ***AUGUST AWARENESS GIVEAWAY***

I've been writing for 15 years or so but it's a saturated market and I guess I'm still pretty much unknown outside of my immediate sphere of influence.
To rectify that (hopefully) I've made my entire catalogue (only six novels) totally FREE to download on Kindle from 2nd to 5th August.

I also have limited FREE Audiobook codes for US and UK versions of The Ajax File and Realm of Ruin. Might have a few for A Child of Szabo which have not been redeemed too.

So, if you like YA fantasy epics, Adult Fantasy or fast-paced thrillers...

PMS me for an audiobook code or comment below

or

Thanks so much and have a great day!
