Cool! I really liked Dark Matter.

Hmm I enjoyed Dark Matter much more than this one.
I for some reason thought we had read Mur Lafferty.
But I was confusing her with Mercedes Lackey.
I did enjoy Mur's podcast version of her superhero novel "Playing for Keeps"

And @terpkristin Tom made the decision publicly on Discord late on Friday.

Playing for Keeps was really good. That's what turned me onto her writing.

I've apparently had this in my audible library for a bit. As it happens I still need 1 more sci-fi book for my S&L group challenge and just finished my last audio book, so I started it today.
Pretty interesting so far, I can see the Dark Matter comparison.

All murder mysteries should be set on a spaceship ;-)

A couple of years ago I was standing in the science fiction section of Barnes and Nobel when an employee seemingly materialized from thin air.
He grabbed Six Wakes off the shelf and handed it to me, with a serious “This one was good”. Then vanished back down the aisle.
This has happened a number of times. Always the science fiction section and always the same mystery employee. I’ve never seen him anywhere else in the store.
Might just be a ghost that really loves science fiction.
