Even though Evan had satisfied himself that Leanne was being abused, he still waited to witness her being assaulted and raped by not only Radack but his two security agents. Your thoughts about that decision?

~Melissa~ | 429 comments It was hard to listen to. On the one hand, I understood him waiting to make sure he was right. But the waiting was hard.

Oh, how I struggled here. I wanted him to intervene but realized he couldn’t. He had to see the abuse to determine what needed to be done to these three…life or death.

It was awful to listen to but I was glad Hurwitz didn’t elaborate on the details. I think my imagination was much worse.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I guess I'm glad I was reading the text, not listening to a narrator.
It was gruesome, but I didn't get the sense that he waited so much as that it took him a while to get himself into the place and to prep himself for a difficult task.

He was definitely waiting and watching. He was already in place.

Susan (cruelshoes) | 158 comments This is the research Evan must do in order to prepare himself on how to help those who need it. I thought the writing of this scene really brought you in emotionally

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 9278 comments Mod
That it did, Susan. I understood why he waited. Just found it sad and unfortunate.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments By this time Evan was sure that Leanne was a victim of abuse by Radack. What he didn't know before seeing the assault was that Radack's henchmen were just as bad as Radack. Evan could have been deciding if he had to dispose of these guys (or anyone else in the house) before taking care of Radack and rescuing Leanne. Seeing Leanne's rape made up his mind.

Shelby (whiskeygirl75) | 31 comments I didn't listen to it but it was hard to read. His so called body guards were just as vile as him.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I had a hard time listening to this part, but I understand why.
